I have been watching E3 2008 for a couple of reasons this year. The first is because I am a casual gamer and E3 is the grand-daddy of all video gaming conventions and let’s face it, there is nothing great on TV these days anyway. Nintendo keeps on going with its consoles still not meeting demand. Economic factors has still kept a lid on demand so their consoles will be the one to own for some time yet, but I wanted to talk about Microsoft here.<o:p></o:p>

Netflix was upgraded today by Lehman Brothers on a device that can stream movies from your computer to your tv. The stock is up over %8 on the news. The player cost $99. This is a great idea, but many other company's exist. Many other companies will get in this area (apple,microsoft,amazon,tivo),to name a few. Will costomers have enough money to pay for this upfront, when gas is at $4 a gallon. Early adopters will get the service, but Netflix depends on a very large mass market. Most people don't want another box to hook up. I just think eventually the cable companies like time warner...
